Notes: 2/16/2016 AB 730 passed out of the Assembly by a vote of 63-35. The bill has now been referred to the Senate Committee on Elections and Local Government. 1/15/2016 Prohibits local regulation of auxiliary containers which includes paper, and plastic bags, cardboard, corrugated material, plastic and other packaging used to transport or protect merchandise, food or beverages.
